The office in Hong Kong operates as a full-fledged branch of the parent company with appropriate pricing and underwriting authority and complete administrative capabilities.

From its base in Hong Kong serves the markets of China, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, and Macao in addition to its home market, Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Branch functions as regional center coordinating the activities of our branches in Shanghai and Seoul as well as our service companies in Taipei and Tokyo and plays a pivotal role in mapping out Hannover Life Re's strategy for the entire Far East.

  • We are very focused in our marketing efforts. We have identified only a small number of companies with which we wish to do business and all our energies are directed towards understanding and addressing the needs of these companies.
