Hannover Life Reassurance (Ireland) Limited was established in 1999 with an initial capitalisation of EUR 100 mio. Our small but highly proficient team works closely with our sister companies around the world to provide innovative reinsurance solutions to our clients.
Hannover Life Re Ireland has a wide range of clients in different countries and our experience has been that each reinsurance transaction that we complete is unique. We are well equipped to provide tailored solutions that meet the individual needs of our clients. In particular, our Irish domicile offers numerous regulatory and financial advantages, which we utilise in many of our transactions. In addition, we provide the financial security that is associated with the Hannover Life Re brand. We are rated A (Excellent) by A.M. Best.
The Hannover Life Re group has substantial expertise in financial reinsurance and Hannover Life Re Ireland plays a key role in this line of business. We help to underwrite and structure many of the Block Acquisition Transactions arranged by the Hannover Life Re group in its capacity as "stochastic banker". Our considerable experience of this type of business means that we can implement effective solutions in a short space of time. We do not focus exclusively on financial reinsurance, however, and have also completed a considerable number of traditional reinsurance transactions.
