Pacific Insurance Conference

The Life Assurance Association of Malaysia (LIAM) is hosting the 23rd Pacific Insurance Conference (PIC), at the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur from the 28th to the 31st of October. The theme of this year’s conference: “New Solutions for Traditional Challenges – Winning Ideas from Industry Leaders” aims to develop effective strategies towards the elevation of the industry to even greater heights.

Amongst the many prominent speakers, Dr. Wolf Becke, Board Member Hannover Re and CEO of Hannover Life Re, will speak about “Increasing Profits via Marketing to existing Customers – the Key to Customer Retention”.

Wolf Becke’s conference paper gives an overview of HLR’s marketing philosophy, which is based on the principles of Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

CRM is firmly expressed in HLR’s corporate strategy: “With the aid of a modern Client Relationship Management (CRM) approach HLR structures their client relationships as long-term partnerships, in which value-creating clients enjoy preferential access to resources”. The conference paper gives detailed insight into the CRM Tools used in HLR's systematic marketing approach by means of a case study on the German Insurance Market.

Hannover Life Re is honored to host a booth at the conference.
